Terms of Use
Roadwork Sports LLC — last updated 13 August 2026
By creating an account or using Roadwork, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. Roadwork is not a doctor, and not your coach
Roadwork generates training suggestions from information you enter. It is software, not medical advice, not physical therapy, and not a substitute for a qualified coach. It has never seen you move, cannot assess your technique, and does not know your medical history beyond what you type.
Talk to a physician before starting any training programme, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, are pregnant, or are returning from a layoff. If something hurts, stop. Pain is information, and the app cannot see it.
2. Training carries risk, and you accept it
Strength training, conditioning, running, and combat sports carry an inherent risk of injury — including serious injury. That risk exists whether or not you use Roadwork.
You use Roadwork at your own risk. You are responsible for deciding whether any suggested session, exercise, load, or intensity is appropriate for you on a given day. You are responsible for your own technique, warm-up, equipment, and environment. Roadwork's suggestions are suggestions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadwork Sports LLC is not liable for injury, illness, or loss arising from your training, whether or not it followed something the app suggested.
3. Age
You must be 13 or older to create a Roadwork account. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13, and we delete them when we find them.
If you are under 18, you may use Roadwork only with the knowledge and permission of a parent, guardian, or coach, and they should read these terms too. Some features — including weight and body composition tracking — are not appropriate for young athletes without adult supervision.
4. Weight, food, and body composition
Roadwork does not provide dietary advice, and nothing in it should be used to plan a weight cut. Rapid weight loss to make a division is dangerous, particularly for young athletes, and Roadwork will not help you do it.
If you have or have had a disordered relationship with food or your body, please speak to a professional rather than to an app.
5. Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate information. The programming is built from your answers, so inflating your level just gets you the wrong sessions.
- One account per person.
6. What you post
You own what you write. By posting to The Corner or any shared area, you give Roadwork permission to display it to other athletes within the app.
Don't post anything abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual, illegal, or that isn't yours to post. Don't give other people medical advice. We can remove content and close accounts that break this, and during the beta we will do so without much ceremony.
7. Rank, records, and verification
Roadwork lets athletes claim a rank, an academy, and a record, and offers verification of some of those claims. An unverified claim is a claim, not a fact, and we present it that way.
Verification means a person reviewed the evidence submitted. It is a good-faith judgement, not a guarantee. If something published about you is wrong, email us and we will correct it.
Coaches are verified the same way, against their own evidence. A verified coach may vouch for an athlete who has named them — a statement of what that coach knows, recorded with their name and the date. A vouch is evidence we weigh. It is not an approval. No coach can verify an athlete, including their own students, and no coach can see anything about an athlete beyond the request that athlete chose to name them on. Vouching for someone you have not taught is grounds for losing your own verification.
Your Roadwork Rating is a number we calculate. It is not a ranking recognised by any federation, governing body, or promotion, and it means nothing outside this app.
8. The app will change, and may break
Roadwork is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be available, accurate, or free of bugs. This is a closed beta — things will change, features will appear and disappear, and data may occasionally go wrong. Export anything you can't afford to lose.
9. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, and deletion means deletion. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
10. Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadwork Sports LLC's total liability to you for any claim relating to Roadwork is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months, or one hundred US dollars.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost training, lost data, or lost opportunity.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent the law allows.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Before starting any formal proceeding, contact us and give us thirty days to resolve it. Most things can be sorted by email.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we change something that matters, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Roadwork after that means you accept the new version.
